Why its answer is option D, why not Option C, plz expalin.

all the options are wrong here. “every lion is cruel” then how you write it. please confirm this first then we can go into further details

i think the options are wrongly printed.


option d will be correct if we assume that x is always a country. and why have they used the same variable x for both country and rich(i think rich should have y cz they are people)

they should have used ^ with existential quantifier in option d.

yes, i also agree that there must be different variables for ‘rich’ and ‘country’. but my doubt is about operators , why ->(implication) is consider as correct why not ^(and).

^ in option b means that every person in the world is the citizen of a particular country say x and is rich….but according to the given stmnt(question) it is possible that there are citizens who belong to different countries.
